JUNIORBEES ETF Review

JUNIORBEES ETF, which is operated by Nippon India Mutual Fund house and its also known as Nifty Next 50 Junior BeES, is an exchange-traded fund designed to provide investors with exposure to the Nifty Next 50 Index. The ETF follows a the Nifty Next 50 Index. The scheme was launched in February 2003 so giving it a long operating history among Indian ETFs.
The Nifty Next 50 represents companies that are part of the broader large-cap universe but are outside the Nifty 50. JUNIORBEES therefore provides exposure to a different group of established Indian companies compared with a Nifty 50 ETF. Nippon India states that the ETF seeks to invest in the securities constituting the Nifty Next 50 in approximately the same proportion as the index. However, as with other equity ETFs, the investment objective is not guaranteed.
